Beats Music was an online streaming service that was operated by Beats Electronics. After Beats was acquired by Apple in May 2014, the streaming service was absorbed into Apple and relaunched in 2015 as Apple Music.

Beats Music was launched on January 21, 2014 and was based on the MOG streaming service that Beats had acquired in July 2012 for $14 million.[1] After Beats itself had been acquired by Apple, who intended to relaunch the service as Apple Music, Beats Music was retired on November 30, 2015.[2]
