Beats Mixr is a line of over-ear headphones engineered by Monster Cable and introduced by Beats Electronics in 2012. They were marketed towards DJs and audio producers.

Description[]

The Beats Mixr headphones were developed in association with music producer David Guetta for loudness, lightness and compactness for use by DJs. Though the aluminum construction received praise for its durability, it has also been criticized for stiffness. Like the Beats Pro, the earcups of the headphones can be rotated up to reduce its size, though DJs will tend to use this feature to make listening to music with only one ear easier.[1]

Legacy support[]

The Beats Mixr headphones, like other Monster co-branded Beats products, are not eligible for support from Apple Inc.[2]
