The 1st-generation Beats Studio were a line of over-ear and noise-cancelling headphones aimed towards professionals and artists. The Beats Studio were engineered by Monster Cable and introduced in 2008 as the first product from Beats by Dr. Dre.[1]
Description[]
These headphones can be used with the noise cancellation feature, and to enable it, a power switch is found on the headphones. The headphones are powered with two AAA batteries. In 2013, the original Beats Studio was discontinued and superseded by the Beats Studio 2.0, developed solely by Beats.
Legacy support[]
The original Beats Studio headphones, like other Monster co-branded Beats products, are not eligible for support from Apple Inc.[2]
